Miles for Meals (est. 2010)
Thank you for your participation in Miles for Meals sponsored by Whitman-Hanson's chapter of the National Honor Society. All of the proceeds raised will be donated to the food pantries of Whitman and Hanson to help families in need.
General Information
Location: Whitman-Hanson Regional High School (outside of the gym doors)
Time: Please arrive no later than 9:45am to allow yourself time to check-in and warm up before the race starts at 10:00am.
5K Course: Start down the junior path, take a right onto Franklin Street to the end. Then, turn right at the stop sign onto South Ave. Take another right onto Winter Street and head back to Franklin Street. Then, take a left at the baseball field and run back up the junior path to the finish line.
1 Mile Walk: Take a right and follow the driveway behind the back of the high school down the hill near the preschool. Then, follow the driveway through the staff parking lot, down the main driveway and take a right onto Franklin Street. Take another right when you reach the junior lot driveway near the baseball field and follow the junior path up the hill to the finish line.

I know that running and volunteering for a road race is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained.
